Police release photo of man they want to speak to after reports of 'serious sexual assault' in city centre

Police are appealing for information following reports of a 'serious sexual assault at a premises in Manchester city centre'.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have issued an image of a man they want to speak to as they 'take these reports extremely seriously'.

The alleged incident occurred in Tariff Street, at around 10pm on Thursday, June 8 2023, said the force. Investigations are underway and police are supporting the victim, officers say. A spokesperson for GMP's City of Manchester district, said: "We take these kind of reports extremely seriously and I would urge anyone with any information to please get in touch with us.
