This is the moment over 100 bikers lead the funeral procession for a popular Scots rider who passed away from bowel cancer. Dad-of-two Billy Curl, 61, from East Kilbride passed away surrounded by loved ones at Kilbride Hospice on May 31 having endured a six-year battle with the disease.Scores of motorcyclists turned out for the procession from his home in Whitehills, East Kilbride, to Linn Crematorium.The footage shows scores of motorbikes lined up outside Billy's house, as the processions starts with the funeral cars followed by the riders from across Scotland.The bikes follow one and other slowly in single file towards Linn Crematorium, and the footage ends as they arrive at Billy's final resting place.His heartbroken family and friends have since paid tribute to the popular biker.Daughter, Lisa Curl said: "My dad fought a long hard and strong battle against cancer and he never gave in until his last breath."With his family at his side he passed peacefully a week ago today and we will forever be grateful for all the nurses and doctors who eased his pain in his final weeks."Joe Murray said: "Ride high and ride free, Billy Curl.

It was a pleasure to know you and be a friend for so many years, there was no one like you. You will be missed but certainly never forgotten."Jimmi Johnson said: "He was a one off.
