Police have installed metal detectors at a Glasgow train station after two schoolboys were brutally attacked in ''shocking acts of violence'.
Fourteen-year-old schoolboy Justin McLaughlin died in hospital after being found seriously injured at High Street station in broad daylight on October 16.
Cops are also investigating the attempted murder of a 13-year-old boy which took place the day before. Now 'Knife arches' have been put into operation at Glasgow Central Station low level by British Transport Police and enhanced patrols on city trains have been launched to help 'provide public reassurance' following the incidents, reports Glasgow Live.
