Police in Warrington issue warning as huge queues form near Burger King drive thru

Police in Warrington were forced to issue a warning after long queues formed when a Burger King drive-thru reopened. The Cheshire force tweeted out for people to avoid the area near the M62 junction as a result of the queue on Wednesday afternoon.

Warrington Police said: "There are large queues around the M62 junction with Warrington with a lot of people waiting for the Burger King drive thru - please avoid the area to reduce congestion." One person replied: "The North West aren't yet on the downward trajectory. "The North West saw its highest number of Covid-19 cases last week. "Yet people have seen fit to block the M62 junction queuing for Burger King.
