James Thomas Fallon (born September 19, 1974) is an American comedian, actor, television host, writer, and producer. He is known for his work in television as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and as the host of late-night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and before that Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He grew up with an interest in comedy and music, moving to Los Angeles at 21 to pursue opportunities in stand-up comedy. He was commissioned to join NBC's Saturday Night Live as a cast member in 1998, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Fallon remained on SNL for six years between 1998 and 2004, co-hosting the program's Weekend Update segment and becoming a celebrity in the process. He left the program for the film industry, starring in films such as Taxi (2004) and Fever Pitch (2005).

James Eugene Carrey (born January 17, 1962) is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, writer, and artist. He is known for his energetic slapstick performances. Carrey first gained recognition in America in 1990 after landing a recurring role in the sketch comedy television series In Living Color.

His first leading roles in motion pictures came with Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994), Dumb and Dumber (1994), The Mask (1994), and Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995), as well portraying the Riddler in Batman Forever (1995) and the lead role in Liar Liar (1997).

He gained attention starring in serious roles in The Truman Show (1998) and Man on the Moon (1999), with each garnering him a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor.

Jim Carrey has told how he was left fearing for his life after receiving a warning that a ballistic missile was going to smash into Hawaii.The Hollywood legend recalled in an interview that he thought he had been left with just 10 minutes to live after receiving a text from the state’s emergency alert system in January 2018.The message advised people to "seek immediate shelter", and warned that the event was "not a drill".Carey later found out that the Hawaii authorities had made a blunder by sending the alert to 1.4 million residents by mistake during an emergency drill.Speaking to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, he told how he desperately contacted loved ones and looked out at the sea as he pondered what to do for his last few.
