Huge queues of cars as Burger King reopens its drive-thru after lockdown

Huge traffic queues have been reported at a Burger King after it reopened - just a day after 'hundreds' of cars turned up to KFC drive-thrus after they opened again.

Burger King joined KFC and McDonald's in making the decision to close all stores in March after the UK entered its coronavirus lockdown, despite being allowed to stay open for takeaway orders.

Customers and drivers caused queues of traffic as they flocked to Llanelli on Wednesday afternoon. The branch in Parc Trostre is the first of seven restaurants which are re-opening in Wales offering deliveries and drive-thru services.
