holidaymakers arriving back in the UK from amber list countries, according to reports. The Times newspaper says that the UK Government is aiming to exempt amber list travellers from self-isolation if they have had both jabs by July 26.
Such a rule change would open up to travel to popular hotspots such as Portugal, Spain and France during the final weeks of Scotland’s summer school holidays.
It is reported that the initial relaxation would only apply to UK residents who have access to the NHS before being opened up to the rest of the European Union.
