Holidaymakers returning to England from France were told late on Friday night that they would still face quarantine when arriving back in the UK - despite a rule change exempting fully-vaccinated travellers from self-isolation.

From this week, UK residents arriving from all other countries on the government’s amber list are exempt from having to quarantine at home for 10 days if they have had both jabs.
