It’s been a busy week for Marvel’s “Daredevil: Born Again” as production is ramping up in NYC. First, it was announced that Jon Bernthal would be returning to the role of Frank Castle, aka, The Punisher, in the Disney+ series alongside fellow former “Daredevil” cast members Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio in their respective Marvel roles.

If there was one character that seems to have gone through a hell of a lot in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen. Heartbroken after ‘Infinity War’ and the death of her love, Vision, Scarlet Witch created a new reality in “WandaVision” and then went on a massive, multiversal killing spree in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” seemingly dying at the end.

Bob Iger returned as CEO of Disney last November, and since his return, the company’s mantra has been “stick with what works.” Last month, Iger put that into practice when he announced sequels to the “Toy Story,” “Frozen,” and “Zootopia‘ franchises. But what isn’t working at Disney recently? THR reports that Iger doesn’t like how expensive making films and shows has gotten, with Deadline adding that franchises like “Star Wars” and Marvel may see some shifts because of that.

Okay, folks, it really does seem as if Marvel Studios is giving fans a Netflix reunion over in “Daredevil: Born Again.” Not only are we getting Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, but apparently, we’re also going to see the return of none other than Jon Bernthal as the Punisher. Prior to “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” writer Jeff Loveness worked in the realm of TV for a while and had never written the script for a feature film. Then, he was picked by Marvel Studios to not only write the third ‘Ant-Man’ film but to also write the next ‘Avengers’ film.

We all know the story of the Untitled third Deadpool movie, aka “Deadpool 3,” rumored to be called “Deadpool vs. Wolverine” (or ‘Logan’), but officially untitled at the moment.

Regardless of your thoughts on Marvel Studios’ latest film, “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” there’s no one who can deny that the film is VFX-heavy. From the moment the main characters venture into the Quantum Realm (about 15 minutes into the film), there isn’t a moment on screen that doesn’t include some sort of VFX work.

The actor is currently promoting his film, “We Have A Ghost,” which follows a family that discovers a ghost named Ernest (David Harbour) in their new home, which leads them to become internet sensations while also helping the ghost find peace.

Fresh off his role in Jordan Peele’s “Nope” last year and his Oscar nomination for “Minari” the year before, Steven Yeun—who has seemed poised for a breakout role for a long time now—is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Yeun will appear in “Thunderbolts,” a Marvel team-up movie with villains and anti-heroes due in August 2024.

For all intents and purposes, even though the films made a ton of money, many fans believe that Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was a disappointment. Well, those films and TV series are behind us, and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” is here to usher in Phase 5 and fully introduce the MCU’s future big bad, Kang the Conquerer.

2022 was sort of a mixed bag for the MCU. On the one hand, “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” were two of the year’s biggest box office hits.

What the hell is going on with the “Spider-Man” film franchise, right now? On the one side, you have Sony working tirelessly to get the spinoff films happening, with so many TV shows and features in various stages of development and production, but none of those projects feature Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. Then on the other side, there’s Marvel Studios, the co-producers of the latest ‘Spider-Man’ film franchise, but the recently announced plans for Phases 5 and 6 feature absolutely zero Spidey news.

Their first breakout role was in 2020 when they starred as Princess Diana in Season 4 of “The Crown.” However, since then, Corrin has been on a tear, earning major roles in films such as “My Policeman” and “Lady Chatterley’s Lover.” And next up are perhaps the two biggest films of their career.

Marvel Studios is now entering Phase 5 as “Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania” is set to be the first installment of the new Phase and will give us a better look at the new big-bad, Kang The Conqueror, played by rising star Jonathan Majors (“Creed III“). Kang is expected to give our MCU heroes a real struggle as they’re not only dealing with one incarnation but a wave of variants.
