PIERS Morgan was left in hysterics after a fan posed for a selfie with a random man they believed was the broadcaster. The former Good Morning Britain presenter, 56, took to Twitter today to share a tweet he had been sent of a man who was mistaken for him.
The tweet read: "Went to the match yesterday and my friends kept calling me Piers Morgan. "This is one of the people who asked for a selfie".
Seeing the funny side, Piers reshared the post alongside several cry-laughing emojis and another shocked face emoji. After sharing the snap, followers commented in their droves about their likeness and couldn't help but laugh about the mix-up.
One penned: "Piers, you should hire him as a doppelganger. A double in case you're in trouble." "I mean it is literally you," another commented. "Piers has his doppelgänger". @font-face{font-family:'The Sun';src:url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.woff2') format('woff2'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.woff') format('woff'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.ttf') format('truetype'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.svg#') format('svg');font-style:normal;font-weight:400;font-display:swap;}@font-face{font-family:'The Sun';src:url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.woff2') format('woff2'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.woff') format('woff'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.ttf') format('truetype'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.svg#') format('svg');font-style:normal;font-weight:500;font-display:swap;}@font-face{font-family:'The Sun';src:url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-HeavyNarrow.woff2') format('woff2'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-HeavyNarrow.woff') format('woff'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-HeavyNarrow.ttf').
