Piers Morgan has called for Prince Andrew to be "stripped of all remaining titles and privileges" after the royal reached a settlement in principle in the civil sexual assault case brought against him.He continues to vehemently deny all allegations against him.The case was brought in America by Virginia Giuffre, who claims Andrew sexually assaulted her when she was 17.The prince – who has always strenuously denied the allegations – has now reached a "settlement in principle" with Giuffre and will pay her an undisclosed sum.Piers waded in upon hearing the development, calling the prince a "snivelling little coward" for paying out and avoiding court.Writing in his column in The Sun, Piers said the royal was "now finished".The TV star said the fact that Andrew had "thrown in the towel" would at least spare the Queen, the rest of the family and the country "any more of this deeply unedifying saga"."But let's be very clear: for a senior member of the Royal Family to pay a small fortune to settle a case involving alleged sexual abuse of a minor is the most serious scandal to hit the Monarchy in modern times," he added.Piers, 56, went on: "There can be no way back to any form of public life for the Queen's second, and some say favourite, son."He also said the royal should be "stripped of all remaining titles and privileges that come with being a prince".A document submitted to the court in the US said: "Virginia Giuffre and Prince Andrew have reached an out of court settlement."The parties will file a stipulated dismissal upon Ms Giuffre's receipt of the settlement (the sum of which is not being disclosed)."Prince Andrew intends to make a substantial donation to Ms Giuffre's charity in support of victims' rights."Prince Andrew.
