Gary Lineker has fired back at Piers Morgan with a Cristiano Ronaldo quip during their Twitter row over the career of David Beckham.The pair became embroiled in a spat on Monday after Morgan had claimed that Beckham would not have made it onto the bench of Arsenal's Invincibles squad.He had earlier aimed a dig at Beckham whilst praising his namesake Odell Beckham Jr, who scored a touchdown for the Los Angeles during their Super Bowl victory on Sunday.Lineker was quick to jump to the defence of the former England captain and even fired back a quip about Ronaldo.After Lineker had responded to Morgan's initial pop at Beckham, the pair quickly went back and forth at each other on Twitter.Firstly, Morgan argued: “You might want to suck up to him, for whatever reason, but Beckham was the most overrated player in history.

Wouldn't have got onto the Arsenal Invincibles bench.”Lineker responded by saying: “6 Premier Leagues, 2 FA Cups, 1 Champions League, 1 La Liga, 1 Ligue 1.
