Marcus Rashford has dismissed claims there is a dressing room divide at Manchester United created by Cristiano Ronaldo. Reports from German outlet Bild have alleged the likes of Rashford and England team-mate Harry Maguire are frustrated with a supposed clique that has been formed by Ronaldo since the superstar's arrival last summer. As United have struggled for form, there have been various reports of unrest behind the scenes, something that has now been rubbished on social media by a furious Rashford. Not content to sit back any longer, the 24-year-old leapt to the defence of his United team-mates, and Ronaldo, and called out journalist Christian Falk over the claims on Twitter.Rashford quote tweeted an article from Bild that read: "TRUE: The English Players like Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford and Co are irritated that Ronaldo wants to lead the dressing room with his own clique.

There is a risk of a split in the team."And responded with: "Are we just making it up as we go along now then? Please stop looking for divides."Even prior to the tweet, Rashford - along with Maguire - had publicly praised Ronaldo since his dramatic homecoming last August.

Ronaldo's return was supposed to lift the Red Devils to the next level and see them challenge for a first Premier League title since the days of Sir Alex Ferguson. But the Portuguese star has been unable to stop the rot at Old Trafford as United have lurched from one disappointing result to the next under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick.
