Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has highlighted the progress that his team has made following their 4-2 win over Leeds United at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon.
Having found themselves 2-0 up at the half-time interval, courtesy of goals from Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes, United, just as they did against Aston Villa, Burnley and Southampton already this year, collapsed in dramatic fashion, with goals from Rodrigo and Raphinha in the space of just 24 seconds bringing Leeds back level.
However, despite Leeds threatening to build on the momentum that they had gained thanks to scoring twice in less than half a minute, United, following the introductions of Anthony Elanga and Fred from the substitutes bench found their feet again, with the latter firing them back in front and providing them with some much-needed control.
Considering United blew a two-goal lead against Aston Villa at Villa Park last month, the supporters could have been forgiven for experiencing a feeling of deja vu.
