Queens of the Stone Age want to celebrate the end of the world with you.From August through October, the heavy alt-rockers are hitting the road for their ‘The End Is Nero Tour’ in support of their upcoming album “In Times New Roman.”Midway through the 30-concert North American leg of the trek, Josh Homme and co. will drop into Queens, NY’s Forest Hills Stadium at West Side Tennis Club on Saturday, Aug.

Queens Of The Stone Age have announced a 2023 North American tour titled ‘The End Is Nero’ that kicks off in August.The 28-city-date tour will commence in Sterling Heights, Michigan at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre. From there, the band will make stops in Toronto, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., New York, Atlanta and more.

Tool and Queens Of The Stone Age have joined Primus onstage and performed covers of AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and more. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have shared a new remix of Puscifer‘s ‘Apocalyptical’.The 11-minute track, which originally featured on the side project of Tool and A Perfect Circle singer Maynard James Keenan‘s 2020 album, has been reworked into a synth driven new version by the Nine Inch Nails frontman and his sidekick. Jane’s Addiction have announced that Josh Klinghoffer will join the band for upcoming shows, standing in for guitarist Dave Navarro who is still contending with the symptoms of long COVID.Navarro previously revealed last September that he was still feeling “very fatigued” after contracting COVID-19 in late 2021. As a result he didn’t take part in Jane’s Addiction’s co-headline tour with The Smashing Pumpkins last autumn, with Queens Of The Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen standing in for those shows.In a new post to social media, the band confirm that Navarro is still not in a position to return to the stage.

Dave Navarro has some bad news to share with fans looking forward to seeing him on tour with Jane’s Addiction this fall.

Dave Navarro will be noticeably missing from Jane’s Addiction upcoming tour.

“Spirits on Fire” tour kicks off Sunday at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, and wraps Nov. 19 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro will sit out the band’s forthcoming tour with Smashing Pumpkins, as the musician is continuing to suffer from the effects of long COVID.In a message to fans posted on the band’s social media, Navarro confirmed he will not be performing on the tour, as he is still experiencing a “continued battle” with long COVID he has been fighting since December of last year.The guitarist said that while he had hoped for a full recovery by the time the tour started in Dallas this weekend, he is still “very fatigued” and, as such, “will not be able to join this leg”.Navarro added that he was particularly “gutted” about not being able to take part in the tour as original bassist Eric Avery has returned to the fold and the tour would have seen the band’s original lineup reunite. “That will have to wait until I am recovered,” Navarro said.Filling in for Navarro will be Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen, whose other projects have included Failure and A Perfect Circle.

Queens Of The Stone Age, Mastodon and At The Drive-In – have released a new song, ‘Sometimes I Feel’.The band formed in 2016 and released their debut album ‘Echolocation’ the following year. Their line-up consists of QOTSA’s Troy Van Leeuwen, Mastodon’s Troy Sanders, At The Drive-In’s Tony Hajjar and Sencit Music founder Mike Zarin.‘Sometimes I Feel’ follows ‘Everything Is Wonderful’, which was released earlier this summer.
