A New York has tossed out a lawsuit brought by a producer who accused Michael Corn, a former top producer at Good Morning America, of sexual assault.

Brian Steinberg Senior TV Editor Leland Vittert, a former Fox News Channel reporter who has become an evening host on Nexstar Media’s NewsNation, will take over the 9 p.m. hour on that network that is being vacated by current host Dan Abrams. Starting February 10, Vittert’s program, “On Balance,” which airs at 7 p.m.

The one-time Fox News Channel personality, also known for his time as a syndicated daytime presence, has joined Nexstar Media’s NewsNation as a correspondent at large, effective immediately. He is expected to appear across daytime and primetime programming and will make his first appearance Wednesday evening on “Cuomo,” which airs at 8 p.m.

Brian Steinberg Senior TV Editor NewsNation wants to make a land grab on Sundays. The Nexstar Media-backed cable outlet will launch its own Sunday public affairs program on March 3, when Chris Stirewalt anchors “The Hill Sunday” at 10 a.m. eastern.

The event will be telecast Wednesday between 8 and 10 p.m. eastern from the University of Alabama by the upstart cable-news outlet NewsNation, and has the potential to affect more than just votes and donations.

ABC News has settled a lawsuit brought by a former Good Morning America producer, who claimed that the network ignored her sexual misconduct complaints about her boss at the show, Michael Corn.

Mick Mulvaney, the former Trump administration official, has signed with NewsNation as a political and economic contributor.

Brian Steinberg Senior TV Editor Mick Mulvaney, the former Director of the Office of Management and Budget acting White House Chief of Staff during the Trump administration, has been named a contributor to NewsNation, the upstart cable-news service operated by Nexstar Media. Mulvaney, who has left a contributor role at CBS News, is expected to take up his new duties immediately, appearing on the new politics-roundtable program “The Hill” at 5 p.m. Tuesday. “Mick’s enormous experience in the political sector will make him an incredible resource to viewers,” said Michael Corn, president of news at NewsNation, in a statement. “We are excited to welcome him to our growing powerhouse team of political analysts, especially as we enter another important election season.”

Brian Steinberg Senior TV EditorA judge in New York State Supreme Court dismissed a lawsuit against former ABC News producer Michael Corn, who was alleged to have sexually assaulted a subordinate and to have created a toxic work environment at ABC News.In August of last year, Kirstyn Crawford, a producer who worked with ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos, alleged that  Corn, the former top producer at “Good Morning America,” assaulted her and another staffer, Jill McClain, on different occasions over a span of multiple years. Both women reported to Corn, who also for a time supervised “World News Tonight.” Crawford also alleged she lost opportunities to advance at work after she began trying to avoid Corn.
