THE plan begins to crumble for Bernie Winter on Coronation Street this week.  She has been earning extra money on the side by impersonating her lookalike Fern (Gabrielle Glaister) as part of a mutually beneficial deal but things don’t go according to plan in upcoming scenes of the ITV soap opera, leaving Bernie vulnerable. Bernie, played by Jane Hazelgrove, convinces Fern to attend a high-end cleaning job interview convinced that the bosses will hire Fern impersonating as Bernie.
