An intensive care nurse was left extremely "shocked" after finding her car window smashed as she came back from a 72-hour work week working six consecutive nights.
Sarne Mawby's car had been left in the staff car park at Birmingham Children’s Hospital when she found it smashed, reports Stoke Sentinel.
The grandmother had been working night shifts, and had taken on an extra shift transporting seriously ill children from the Royal Stoke University Hospital to Birmingham.
When she discovered the vehicle in the morning, the driver’s side window was shattered, leaving glass scattered inside her car, and the culprit had taken some loose change and store loyalty cards from inside the vehicle.
