Fears of brutal Irish gang retribution after Robbie Lawlor murder – as rivals issue threats

There are fears of a gang war being unleashed in Ireland after the murder of notorious hitman Robbie Lawlor. The bloodthirsty psychopath was gunned down in Belfast’s Ardoyne district last month after travelling to the city to collect a drug debt.

Cops believe he was set up to be murdered by rivals, or that the drug dealer being targeted killed Lawlor to protect himself.

Lawlor was the prime suspect in the brutal murder of 17-year-old Keane Mulready-Woods. The tragic teenager, caught up in an ongoing drug feud in the town of Drogheda, was tortured and dismembered before his body parts were scattered across Dublin in January.
