Nintendo Direct showcase of 2022.Last night Nintendo unveiled some huge announcements of new games, including Fire Emblem, Mario Strikers, Chrono Cross, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and even the release of the blockbuster No Man's Sky for its portable console.Fans have gone wild for the announcement of Nintendo Switch Sports, a sequel to the blockbuster Wii Sports series which sees players use motion controllers to play virtual bowling, tennis, soccer, badminton and more.
Perhaps the biggest news though is that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is set to get a whopping 48 new racecourses added throughout the year.The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 'Booster Course Pass' will be available for free to Nintendo Switch Online Expansion members, or can be bought separately for £22.49 on the eStore.
The courses, which will be a mixture of new racetracks and old classics, will be released in sets of eight over the year, with the first 'wave' released on 18th March 2022.
This will include: The massive open-universe game No Man's Sky is also making its way to the platform, although many gamers are confused about how the console will handle its high technical demands once it is released this summer.
