Zack Sharf Digital News Director Nikki Glaser said during a recent interview on “Today With Hoda & Jenna” that it’s clear Tom Brady “maybe didn’t consider the backlash from his family and how it would affect them” when he signed up to get roasted in a Netflix live comedy event.
Brady has admitted as much, saying on “The Pivot Podcast” that he probably would not do another roast because of how the jokes affected his children.
Glaser was widely considered one of the best comedians to roast Brady during the event. “I also think Tom Brady does not do anything without doing his research and knowing exactly what he’s getting into,” Glaser said, debating with herself over how much Brady knew what he was getting into. “It’s impossible to me that he didn’t consider what could have happened because there’s roast footage out there that you can watch and go, ‘They’re gonna go this hard,'” Glaser added. “But then, there’s a part of me that thinks that Tom Brady, especially given his career and how much people love him, no one’s ever said a bad thing to him in the past 30 years, so he doesn’t know what anyone’s capable of going there.” Glaser was one of many comedians who roasted Brady over his divorce to Gisele Bündchen, who started a relationship with her jiu-jitsu instructor after her marriage ended. “Tom Brady.
