Andi Peters told off by GMB's Adil Ray for 'not wearing enough clothes' in tech blunder
Good Morning Britain tech blunder as he reported live from Lake Garda in the heart of Italy.During Friday’s (June 17) instalment of the popular ITV breakfast show, the 48-year-old broadcaster welcomed viewers back to the show alongside hi co-host Kate Garraway as they discussed the latest headline. And it’s fair to say the topic on everyone’s lips this morning was the nationwide heat wave up and down the country which can see parts of the UK sweltering in 34-degree heat.As the pair discussed the effects of the gorgeous weather, the dynamic duo became embroiled in a controversial discussion as to whether it is appropriate to wear shorts in the office. As his 55-year-old co-host donned a pair of bright blue flip flops, the newsreader confessed that he didn’t agree with people opting for a more casual attire in the workplace, particularly showing subtle midriff and exposing hairy armpits. However, viewers were left waiting after the mum-of-two introduced Andi who continued to soak up the sun overseas blissfully unaware he was due to go live to the studio. While fans were left watching a blank screen, Adil excused his absence by joking that the star “wasn’t wearing enough clothes” to appear on the silver screen.Kate welcomed him onto the show, saying: “It’s competition time and Andi’s got all the details for how you could win.”As the camera stayed on the two news anchors, she explained: “He might have the details, we’re just trying to locate him, Andi are you there? I tell you what – we'll find Andi Peters and give you those details a little later on.”It was at this point hat Adil brushed off the technical blunder with a joke, as he quipped: “Oh never mind.
