Nigella Lawson has been called out on Twitter for changing the name of one of her famous desserts but has defended the change saying the name has taken on a ‘cruel’ subtext.
The drama kicked off when the 61-year-old chef listed the dessert, ‘Ruby Red Raspberries in Chardonnay Jelly’ as her #recipeoftheday on the social media site.
Diehard fans recalled that the jelly originally had a much more tongue-in-cheek name and weren’t shy about asking why she had changed the name.
