You may not be able to understand what he sees in her, but he clearly sees something and that’s all that matters. If he’s not complaining about her attention or organising to see you on your own, then you have to conclude he enjoys the love. He likes her hanging around his neck whispering sweet nothings into his ear. You may not be able to see it, but she must make him feel good.
Perhaps they do have an exceptional sex life? Perhaps she’s actually very shy and they have some wonderful, witty conversations when they’re on their own?
You haven’t used the word “jealous” but I can’t help feeling you’re envious of what they have. Life moves on. Maybe he’s done all the clubbing and heavy drinking he’s ever going to do.
