The devastated mum of a teenage boy murdered by his male lover says she has experienced "hell" after losing her "miracle" son in "the most horrific and brutal circumstances".
Matthew Mason, 20, was jailed for a minimum of 28 years for bludgeoning 15-year-old Alex Rodda to death with a wrench in woods in Ashley, Cheshire.
The farmer's son killed the schoolboy on December 12, 2019 after paying more than £2,000 to stop him revealing their sexual relationship, the Manchester Evening News reported.
As they sat through the weeks-long trial at Chester Crown Court, Alex's grieving parents, Lisa and Adam, heard graphic details of the injuries he suffered.
