Mum pushes autistic son into canal ‘in failed attempt to kill him’ then runs away

dailystar.co.ukA mum accused of killing her nine-year-old son has been filmed pushing him into a canal, in what police say was a failed attempt to kill him.
Police allege Patricia Ripley, 45, faked her son Alejandro’s abduction after she drowned him in a canal in Miami, Florida. Her husband Aldo has said the claims are “not real” but footage has since emerged of the Florida woman seeming to push the boy into the water in what police believe was her first failed attempt to kill him.
The clip, obtained by security firm Univision, shows Ripley pulling her son along the canal front. She then stops and appears to have a conversation with Alejandro.
