'Severely abused' girl, 7, found dead at home with dad accused of torture

dailystar.co.ukA seven-year-old has tragically been found dead at home with her dad now under arrest. Police officers rushed to the property in the city of Stockton in California, the US, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
They found the “unresponsive” body of Billie Williams in the garage and she was pronounced dead at the scene. Dad Billy Williams, 30, was arrested on charges of torture, wilful cruelty to a child resulting in injury or death, and battery on a person.
He was taken to San Joaquin County Jail and is being held without bail. Police officer Joe Silva said: “Everyone's wondering how could this father do this to his small daughter?” Stockton Police have not yet confirmed the girl’s exact cause of death but they believe she was “severely
