Police have arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of the murder of teenager Louise Smith. The missing 16-year-old's body was found in woods close to her home in Havant, Hampshire last week.
Louise was last seen alive in Somborne Drive in the Leigh Park area of the town at midday on May 8. Her body was found in nearby woodland at Havant Thicket on May 21.
Police haven't released a cause of death but are continuing searches of the area where she was found. A man who had previously been arrested on suspicion of kidnap has been rearrested on suspicion of murder.
Police have also detained a 29-year-old woman previously arrested for kidnap on suspicion of assisting an offender. A Hampshire Police spokesman said both suspects were in custody.
