Man admits hitting mum, 21, with glass bottle in street leaving her bloodied

dailystar.co.ukA young mum was left bloodied and traumatised after being bottled by a thug on the Isle of Wight – and he has now pleaded guilty to attacking her.
Yavana Dix, 21, who has a two-year-old son, was pictured in tears with blood pouring down her face following the horrific attack in the Lake area of the island last December.
Yesterday, her attacker Jamie Simpson, 30, pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm without intent following the assault, which left Yavana with "significant injuries".
As well as cuts, she also suffered bruising in the vicious assault. Following her late night ordeal the mum, who works as a carer for people with disabilities, was taken to a nearby home.
