Motorists warned of disruption on M74 as roadworks scheduled to start

Road users are being warned of essential maintenance on the M74 northbound between junctions 10 near Lesmahagow and Junction 8, Canderside Toll.Work will be carried out by Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the Network Management Contract for the South West Trunk Road Unit, between Strathaven Road underbridge and Draffan Road underbridge.The works costing £529,845 will start from Thursday, November 25 until Tuesday, November 30, using phased traffic management.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
