Mohamed Salah has been told he is not "indispensable" to Liverpool and could be sold "if the price is right". That is the view of former Reds goalkeeper David James, who suggested Liverpool play better as a team without the Egyptian in their side.

Salah was absent for Liverpool's impressive 3-0 win over Leicester on Sunday, with replacement Diogo Jota scoring for a fourth successive home game.

There has been plenty of talk in the past about Liverpool eventually breaking up their front three, given their advancing years, and James now feels Salah moving abroad could be a plausible development.
