VIEWERS felt their stomachs churn during last night's instalment of Countryfile. Fans of the BBC One show felt sick when host Adam Henson introduced them to a farmer whose business involved cow manure.
During last night's episode of the show dedicated to the British countryside, presenter Adam set off for a trip to Pewsey in Wiltshire.
Upon arrival, he met a farmer named Neil Ridgway who has managed to successfully find his own renewable resource and this involves a little help from his cows.
Adam was stunned by how Neil had turned his cow dung into a source of functioning electricity. "Energy bills on farms are astronomical, and here on our farm, our annual electricity bill is around £10,000", Neil explained.
