Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has been snubbed from the Champions League team of the season despite the inclusion of four Reds players.Jurgen Klopp's side suffered Champions League heartbreak at the hands of Real Madrid once again on Saturday evening.
The Reds were unable to avenge their 2018 loss as Vinicius Jr's second-half strike separated the two sides in Paris.Unsurprisingly, the two sides that met at the Stade de France dominated the side with four players each in the team of the tournament.
Liverpool's Andy Robertson, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Fabinho were all selected for the side.The four Madrid players selected were: Thibaut Courtois, Luka Modric, and the attacking duo of Karim Benzema and Vinicius Jr.Benzema was also named the Player of the Tournament by UEFA, and his header at Chelsea was named as Goal of the Tournament.
