LeBron James was furiously booed by Real Madrid supporters during the Champions League final, who also aimed a cheeky chant in his direction.The LA Lakers forward, 37, owns a minority share in Liverpool and was spotted cheering on Jurgen Klopp's side as they aimed to avenge their 2018 final defeat to Los Blancos.

But unlike his stellar appearances on the court, James could only watch from the sidelines as Real Madrid claimed an unlikely victory, via their only shot on target.Pitted in a swanky VIP box nearby Los Blancos ultras, it may not have been wise for the 6ft 9 basketball star to display a Reds shirt over the shoulder of his three-piece suit.

A chorus of boos was his reception when taking a seat to watch the final before Madrid fans cheekily started to chant "Michael Jordan better." James, though, seemed to appreciate the cruel taunt and gestured his right hand towards the crowd as if to say 'bring it on'.A wry smile was also spread across the 37-year-old's face when his picture appeared on the big screen - though that also sparked another round of jeering from the Real Madrid contingent.HAVE YOUR SAY!
