Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic could jump ship to Liverpool this summer with manager Jurgen Klopp keen on pinching the disgruntled American and bringing him to Merseyside. With Sadio Mane set to join Bayern Munich, and Mo Salah's long-term future anything but secure, Liverpool are in the market for a speedy wide-man who could slot into their notoriously high-octane front three.Chelsea have little reason to sell, particularly to a direct rival, but Pulisic has struggled for form and regular first-team football under Thomas Tuchel and would more than likely be open to the move if Liverpool pushed hard enough for it.Pulisic and Klopp have something of a history too.

While the 23-year-old never actually played for the German, they crossed paths for three months at Dortmund before Klopp's departure in May 2015.Prior to his £58 million move to Stamford Bridge in 2019 Pulisic was offered the chance to join Klopp at Liverpool, though he turned the move down due to a lack of first-team assurances. While there's still no guarantee Pulisic would walk into Liverpool's first XI, playing in a more direct, aggressive setup would suit him far better than being shunted out at wing-back - as Tuchel has done on occasion - and with five substitutions allowed in the Premier League from next season there'll be plenty of chances to challenge the likes of Salah, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota for a starting berth.Would Pulisic be a better fit at Liverpool than he is at Chelsea?

Let us know what you think in the comments section.Chelsea aren't usually in the business of selling players to Liverpool, with Daniel Sturridge the only direct ship-jumper in the Premier League era, and seeing as Pulisic has two years left on his contract there's little.
