McDonald's will be pleased to hear that the fast food chain is launching its first ever rewards scheme, MyMcDonald’s Rewards.From Wednesday July 20, MyMcDonald’s Rewards will give customers across the UK the chance to collect points for free menu items, or donate them to charities.These charities will include Children in Need and Ronald McDonald House Charities.READ MORE: McDonald's loving thief broke into a woman’s car and stole purse to pay for mealCustomers will earn 100 points for every £1 they spend with MyMcDonald’s Rewards, with every penny spent equating to 1 point.Collecting 1,500 points will allow customers to choose between menu items including small Fries, Hash Browns or a Side Salad.With 2,500 points, a Double Cheeseburger or Vegetable Deluxe is on the cards.Finally, with 4,000 points, choose between menu favourites like 6 Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac.When a certain point milestone is reached, customers can redeem an eligible menu item or convert their points to a cash donation to charityCustomers can sign up to MyMcDonald’s Rewards by downloading the McDonald’s App and opt-in to rewards.Maccies fans will be able to start collecting points from tomorrow.
Customers who are opted in to MyMcDonald’s Rewards and order and pay through the McDonald’s App will automatically earn points on their order – this includes McDelivery when ordered via the app.
