Premier League season.It is indeed a momentous landmark. From the scrappy Divison One, the English game has evolved and modernised into what’s considered the best league in the world now.
And, given its 30-year birthday, we felt it would be worthwhile to check out the very first Premier League photoshoot in 1992.The Telegraph report that the image was part of a TV advert.
It features 22 footballers who were taken to a warehouse near Wembley for the photoshoot. Here we go through the players whose faces make an appearance.
