Max Verstappen was left in a fit of rage at his team as his car broke down during the Bahrain Grand Prix.The Formula One driver was competing in the first of the new season when his Red Bull car encountered a technical with just three laps to go, leaving Charles Leclerc to take the first win of the new campaign.Verstappen was heard yelling at Red Bull chiefs.
He shouted: "What is going on with the battery? The team replied: "Battery is fine." But the 24-year-old was not happy and fired back: "No it is not.
No it's not! What the f*** is this!"Trying to keep calm, the team responded: "It is not battery-related. There is nothing we can do."Red Bull tweeted after the race that they suspected fuel pump issues to both of their cars.
Their account wrote: “A tough result to take. We need to do a full investigation, but it looks like both Bulls suffered from a suspected fuel pump issue.”Verstappen said to Sky Sports: "We don’t fully know or understand why it happen.
