The enormous Northern Restaurant and Bar exhibition, which was due to take place at Manchester Central this week, has been postponed.
NRB20 was due to welcome thousands of hospitality professionals at the annual two-day event on March 17 and 18. The site build at the event space was already underway, and the news of the cancellation comes just hours after event organisers assured the public that the event would go ahead as planned.
A statement sent to exhibitors and later posted on their website said the decision had been taken in light of 'the escalating situation regarding COVID-19'.
