Mancunians are officially 24 hour party people as city's nightlife shifts from weekends to seven-day socialising. Midweek spending in bars and restaurants has risen by 13.5% in the city over the last four years, new data analysis shows.
The figures show a similar picture across the north, with Monday to Thursday spending in Leeds up by 19.6%, and by 17.9% in York.
