Manchester United have reportedly approached the agent of French defender Ibrahima Konate about a summer move, despite uncertainties about the upcoming transfer window.
RB Leipzig centre-back Konate has spent most of the season sidelined with a torn muscle fibre he suffered back in October. But the 20-year-old is still considered one of the most exciting prospects in the Bundesliga, having joined Leipzig from Ligue 2 side Sochaux in 2017.
Konate has done well to establish himself in a team that boasts one of the best defences in Germany, also featuring fellow countrymen Dayot Upamecano and Nordi Mukiele, as well as captain Willi Orban.
