Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) continues to walk on eggshells around Denise Fox (Diane Parish) but it’s Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) who encourages Denise to get her marriage back on track and suggests a BBQ to bring the family together. The Queen Vic landlady has been struggling to cope with the loss of childhood sweetheart Mick Carter (Danny Dyer), after his disappearance on Christmas day. Having dived into the sea to save Linda, following a car chase that saw her and Janine drive over the edge of a cliff, he was assumed dead when he failed to resurface.

SOCIAL services and police have been roaming around Albert Square and, particularly, in the Slater household. But when he was questioned, EastEnders viewers began to believe Freddie Slater may be hiding something.

FREDDIE Flintoff's son has revealed the Top Gear host is "lucky to be alive" after he was involved in a terrifying crash while filming an episode. Corey Flintoff, 16, said his family have been left "shocked" after the ex-England cricket star, 45, was rushed to hospital following the accident. The shocking smash happened during filming of the hit BBC One series at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome.

EastEnders actress Gillian Wright has undergone surgery after breaking her wrist following a nasty fall during her pantomine show this week.The 62-year-old has told fans she is "devastated" to have had to pull out of her stint.Gillian got through rehearsals and the opening night of Snow White at the Central Theatre, Chatham, despite being in a sling, but can no longer go on.Chris Jordan, managing director of Jordan Productions, told Kent Online: "Like the trooper she is, Gill managed to get through the last week of rehearsals and the opening night of the panto whilst in a sling and a certain amount of discomfort."No one knew the extent of the injury until she came out of surgery, and we were all shocked to hear that the break was worse than anyone had thought."Obviously, Gill’s health and wellbeing is paramount so, whilst we are sorry that she can’t return to the show, we wish her a speedy recovery over the next few weeks and send her all our love."More to follow...

The TV Choice Awards 2022 shortlist has been announced and Bridgerton is in the lead, with the Netflix drama in the running for three accolades after its well-received second season came out earlier in the year. The drama is nominated alongside Outlander and Death In Paradise for Best Drama Series. Jodie Comer is up for Best Actress in Killing Eve and This Is Going To Hurt's Ben Whishaw is hoping for the Best Actor prize.

EastEnders' Lacey Turner looked absolutely beautiful in a recent photo with her younger sister Lily. Not the only star in her family, Lacy's sister has also appeared on Albert Square. Back in 2011, Lily, 22, played the role of Shenice Quinn, who was Kat Slater's friend's daughter.

Emmerdale has been declared the winner of the coveted Best Soap gong at the British Soap Awards 2022.The huge award win comes after a year of hefty storylines, with serial killer Meena Jutla front and centre.Played by Paige Sandhu, the killer storyline kept audiences on the edge of their seats right up until Meena was sent to prison for life - but not before she held the courthouse hostage. Unsurprisingly, Paige was also recognised at the awards ceremony in the Best Leading Performer category, while Emmerdale also scooped the Best Family gong for the Dingles.

ITV soap Coronation Street have been showing big love to their co-star Harriet Bibby after a huge announcement this week.It was revealed that the young actress, who plays 16-year-old Summer Spellman in the show, has been put up for a National Television Award.The huge event, which is set to take place in September, announced its long list of talented actors and actresses up for the special award with many Corrie stars making the cut.Harriet is up for the best Serial Drama Performance in the ITV soap after her harrowing storyline of struggling with an eating disorder over exam stress and her diabetes diagnosis.Harriet isn't the only Corrie star in the category either as she's up against co-stars Charlie De Melo, who plays Imran Habeeb, and his on-screen wife Toyah, played by Georgia Taylor.Corrie legend Maureen Lipman, who plays Evelyn Plummer, is also up for an award along with Kelly Neelan actress Millie Gibson.There are also stars from other hit soaps that have been nominated including Gillian Wright who plays Jean Slater in EastEnders, actor Harvey Virdi who portrays Misbah Maalik in Hollyoaks and Marlon Dingle actor Mark Charnock in Emmerdale.People were quick to show their love and support for Harriet on the nomination including her on-screen bestie Amy Barlow, played by Elle Mulvaney.Taking to her Instagram story, the actress wrote: "She's only gone and got nominated for an NTA!"
