A man has sadly died after being hit by a train in Glasgow.Emergency services were called to the city's Hillington East station at 6.08am o Friday October 15 amid reports of a person struck by a train.Scotrail had closed all lines between Paisley Gilmour Street and Glasgow Central stations.
Paramedics were also called to the station, but the man was pronounced dead upon their arrival.BTP said the tragic incident is not being treated as suspicious.Scotrail passengers affected by the cancellations were advised to show their rail tickets on McGills bus services instead.Just before 9am a representative from the rail firm confirmed that all lines were reopened, but delays were still expected while they work to put 'trains and crew back in
