Giovanni, 31, did not appear to be drowning his sorrows after his split from Irish presenter Maura. Instead, he took to a piano covered with stunning roses, to serenade EastEnders star Rose who is Strictly's first deaf star.
As he tinkered away at the keys during the comedy skit, Rose looked bemused and said: "I'm deaf." In another clip on Instastories, the duo, who fans have hailed for their chemistry and have called the 'perfect pair', larked about on camera having a drink without using their hands to lift their glasses.
