Manchester City have been charged with failing to control their players amid a controversial refereeing call by Simon Hooper in Sunday’s draw with Tottenham.
The official blew for a foul when Jack Grealish was through on goal despite initially playing advantage. This prompted a furious reaction from Erling Haaland, who stormed down the tunnel at full-time before posting an expletive expression on social media in reaction.
The Football Association have now charged City with being unable to control the reaction of their players but will not punish Haaland individually.
