Caroline Kayll, 47, was assaulted alongside a 15-year-old boy at around 8.55pm on Sunday, November 15 at her home in the colliery village of Linton, north of Newcastle.Ms Kayll, who worked as a teacher at Atkinson House School in Seghill, died from her injuries in hospital and the teen, not related to Caroline, is in hospital being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
