Barcelona could force Luis Suarez to watch the entire season ‘from the stands’ if he doesn’t leave the club this summer, according to reports.
New Barca boss Ronald Koeman has deemed the Uruguayan surplus to requirements at the Camp Nou. Suarez still has one-year left on his deal with the La Liga giants and is reportedly unwilling to voluntarily terminate his contract.
Since returning to pre-season training, it is claimed that Suarez has remained entirely committed to the cause and would stay with the club should Koeman complete a dramatic U-turn.
At this point, that looks unlikely, with Koeman leaving the former Liverpool star out of his squad for their warm-up game with Gimnastic.
