Russia's richest men and a close ally of despot leader Vladimir Putin reportedly owns a London mansion only slightly smaller than Buckingham Palace.Andrey Guryev, 62, is a business magnate in charge of fertiliser manufacturer Phosagro and is thought to have a net worth of around £4.2 billion although he has now under sanctions. As you might expect, having access to that much money in peacetime comes with some considerable perks such as a house fit for royalty.Guryev has long been rumoured to be the owner of the frankly ridiculous London property known ostentatiously as the Witanhurst. The enormous estate is valued at around £303million and is located smack bang in the middle of North London's swanky Highgate where celebs like Kate Moss and Clive Owen also have homes.

The Witanhurst is often referred to as London's second-biggest home and has an amazing 25 bedrooms as well as sprawling immaculately kept grounds.

The building is impressive to look at and is stacked like a castle, with cosy water features accentuating the old world style of the behemoth.

Guryev is not thought to live in the Witanhurst mansion and has repeatedly denied he is the owner according to MyLondon. Instead, the billionaire reportedly resides in a gated community on the outskirts of Moscow which is no doubt just as impressive.
