The much-anticipated and long-awaited sequel to Disney's hit live-action/animated musical Enchanted made its world premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday.Some 15 years in the making, Disenchanted features original stars Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, Idina Menzel and James Marsden, along with newcomers Maya Rudolph, Gabriella Baldacchino, Yvette Nicole Brown and Jayma May.Ahead of the screening, the stars hit the red carpet for a round of promotional  photos, which included Dempsey who had his wife of 23 years, Jillian Fink, by his side. UPDATE: Last season’s Tony-winning Broadway production of Richard Greenberg’s Take Me Out proved so popular that producers made the unusual decision to bring the show back, its cast largely in tact, for some extra innings. Take Me Out begins a 14-week Broadway run today, playing through January 29, 2023. The original cast remains except for one: Bill Heck will replace Patrick J. Adams in the role of Kippy Sunderstrom.

Just hours after a new Star Wars project from Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof surfaced, new details have emerged.Lindelof is currently writing the script with Justin Britt-Gibson (Counterpart, Into the Badlands, The Strain), according to The Hollywood Reporter.It was also revealed that this project will be set after the Skywalker Saga, which ended with 2019's Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker... though it may feature characters from LucasFilm's sequel trilogy that also included 2015's The Force Awakens and 2017's The Last Jedi.

Patrick Frater Asia Bureau Chief Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment is taking ElectricNow, its AVOD channel and app, into international markets for the first time. The rollout outside the U.S. starts in early November with outreach into Australia. Los Angeles-based indie, Electric Entertainment has previously licensed its content to local distributors and channels at international markets. When it launched the OTT channel in 2019 it did not seek to build global operations, which would have entailed undoing, or waiting for the expiry, of some of those deals. The company , headed by Devlin and partners Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan-Wilson, says that ElectricNow will soon be rolled out in other English-language territories, Canada and the U.K, but did not specify a timetable.
