A brave pensioner has revealed she has been left traumatised by a thug who battered her with a crowbar while he raided her home.

Sirrell admitted his guilt over the offence, which left Nancy needing four stitches, at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Tuesday and was jailed for 207 days.
